Children's Calligraphy Course
How old can children start writing?
Occupational therapists recommend that children K2 (approximately 4-5 years old) can hold a pen and write simple lines, and K3 (approximately 5-6 years old) can start learning to write simple Chinese characters. The small hand muscles of young children are still in the development stage, so learning to write needs to be step-by-step. Initially, you can practice simple lines and write with thicker crayons. We also recommend stimulating the senses through games to cultivate interest in learning.
